Bali

Bali, Indonesia is one of our favorite destinations on the planet! Bali is a small island nestled between the island of Java to the west and is separated to the east by the Lombok Strait and the tranquil island of Lombok. Bali is only 145 km (90 miles) long and is 80 km (50 miles) wide. It has two major cities, Singaraja to the north and Denpasar (its capital) to the south. Both cities are separated by mountainous regions in the middle of the island of which is the highest point on the island, Mount Agung (3,142 m / 10,308 ft), a volcano that erupted in March of 1963. Scattered throughout the mountainous middle regions of the islands are incredible rice terraces, small farms and a population that makes their livings from artistry and carvings. The Balinese are world renowned for their skill at any number of handicrafts and paintings, and we aim to bring some of the best of Bali to your doorstep! The Southern regions of Bali consist of world class beaches and resorts, and is a surfer’s paradise.

While leafing through our Bali pages take a look and see what you like, the artists represented here are a great cross section of talents, and the pieces we have chosen truly reflect the island spirit that the locals have in their own environment. Bali is one of the most peaceful places on planet earth, with the people being the most hospitable, friendly and hard working in Asia, and we certainly hope you enjoy your painting, as much as we enjoyed finding them!

Enjoy IndigoArtOnline.com’s Bali pages, and we hope you find something that you like! We love Bali, Indonesia, and I am sure you will too- remember, all paintings represented in our gallery are all originals; all purchased directly from the artists and are fairly traded.
