Vietnam is a long, skinny country located on the eastern edge of the Indochinese Peninsula, and is surrounded by China to the north, Laos and Cambodia to the west and by the South China Sea to the east. Hanoi is a bustling northern city, packed full of wonderfully colorful street stalls, lakes and classic French colonial style architecture and serves as Vietnam’s capital.

Vietnam is blessed with many varied types of geography. The northern regions contain mountains with many hill tribe colonies still living much like they did hundreds of years ago, with amazing views and some great hiking. The east coast of Vietnam is blessed with some of the most stunning beaches found anywhere in the world. As you make your way south, you will see a country primarily built on agriculture with many canals, rivers and streams used for irrigation and flood control. The Mekong Delta to the south is fertile and is primarily cultivated and has vast tracks of rice fields and is split by the mighty Mekong River.

You will see a lot of artists represented form this area of Asia, as it is one of our favorites to travel and relax in- the people are wonderful, the cuisine is some of the best in Asia, and the beaches are the best anywhere.
